When is the install? Im curious to see your initial thoughts when you drive it with the 3.92s
Apparently they were done the install around 4 hours ago and just finishing up on the brake controller...haven't heard back yet. Pretty eager to try it out for sure.

The difference? Night and day. I don't even have the JGreene tune back on it yet either. Haven't had a chance to open it up as I need to break in the diff, but overall I'm beyond happy with the turn out so far.

Do we really need 37's? No.
A lifted truck period? Not really.

But it looks cool.

Carry on.

Did you get any core charge for the 3.21 parts? I've been thinking of this very same thing for a while now. Contacted one dealership (not where I bought the truck) and they wanted like $6500 parts and labor. They told me to trade in for another truck. It's still cheaper to regear than trade in.

There is no core charge on gears because there is nothing to rebuild. Some places might give you credit for your gears if you have very few miles on them though.

Nope, no core charge. Going to do my best to get rid of it somehow though. $6500USD is crazy. Try emailing another dealer in the area to see if they'd give you a better price? Also show them the prices of the parts online, I did that and saved quite a bit.

So you found it to be a worthwhile swap? What have you noticed as far as mpg and towing improvements?

Definitely. Haven't towed as of yet, picking up my new trailer in a few weeks.

On the front end, do you know if you just bought a new diff and used your original axels or did u have to buy the complete assembly?

Oh, on chryslerpartsdirect.com it shows axle left, axle right and differential as 3 separate parts

Axles are like $258 and diff is $1489

Those are the cv shafts, or maybe listed as axle shafts (when they aren't). The axle is everything in the aluminum housing.

Revo, what did you end up finding out with the 2014 front weld issue. Did yours end up being welded in or were you able to just change the gears?
