Great work! will there be a direct to consumer distribution potential when you get things all sorted? As a consumer, I'm very interested.

I'd make you one but I don't want to steal anything from knighthawk

I am good with you doing this. I had seen that no one else had started it, so I was looking at the option my self. I have the tools, but the time is harder to come by. If you have the time, equipment and ability, do it.

If someone is making these, I'd love one. I like the idea so much more than a whole new bumper.

So, the time has come. I should have a pretty solid price for those interested ready tomorrow. If you live a long ways away from me, then we'll have to discuss some sort of shipping. Most likely freight since this weighs a pretty good bit. If you would like other options, I can do that. Here's what I am thinking:
  1. Raw Metal
  2. Primed
  3. Flat black paint
  4. Gloss black paint
  5. Hardware (unless you source your own, then I can include a list of what you'll need)
Might also look into adding light mounts for the 2009-2012 guys, so you can mount some single row led bars on the sides of the fairlead. And still have the tow hooks. I'll consider other options that can be added to the plate but let me know if you're looking for something special.

If you're interested, besides the guys that have already pm'd me, send me a message so I know how many to start working on. I'm going to require a small security deposit since this is coming out of my pocket before I send them off.

Also, I'm going to be making a hi lift mount for the bed of our trucks that is bolt on. More info on that to come. Should be nice for us lifted truck guys with larger tires where the factory jack won't reach.

*********UPDATE**********
Those who have messaged me I've sent prices. I've also texted those that are seriously interested. Price is $250 raw. I will get estimates on shipping today.

For those that are interested, here are some pictures of the final raw plate. Except the spacers that go on the ends. I accidentally forgot to put them in the pictures.

I really need wagunners permission since he was the first. But his profile says he hasn't been on for over a year. Maybe somebody can give me some advise on what to do.

Hey Dantheman,

I haven't been on this forum in a long time, but It's awesome that the idea has caught on and you're improving it and running with it. Start churnin' them out!

What kind of capacity do you expect/guess these to hold up to?

As well I have a bighorn so the bumper is solid in the center, I assume I could cut the bumper to provision a fairlead? I would want to likely on both side to keep the cord (synthetic) from chafing/cutting on the steel.

I did a 12,000 lb pull and everything was fine. As far as I know, all you have to do is cut a hole in the center of the bumper to run your synthetic cable through. Might want to file the edges down really well so nothing can cut that expensive rope.

PM and idea of price and shipping to 33625, can be on a pallet if its cheaper. Or if you have a vacation coming to Tampa area in the next 6 months thats fine too

Any Rebel owners in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia or surrounding areas willing to let me borrow your truck/hang out for a day or two for a free winch plate?

You should make one for the rear of the truck, where the spare tire goes [emoji6] [emoji6]

Hahaha and I'd probably buy it! I've kind of been itching to do it since my spare is usless, I have an extra winch and I could put a roller between the space of my hitch and bumper since I have a body lift. I just don't have any welding and very little metal working skills lol

I understand completely. I go to Clemson so I know how it is. If you send me some pictures of where the spare tire goes and the back bumper with measurements I'll see what I can do
