Nice dude. everyone in my neighborhood rolls on those down to the community pool and what-not. I've been searching for a decent deal on one, but no luck yet. You gonna slam it? They make air ride kits for golf carts :naughty:

I learn something new everyday.

I went to the store and ended up parked beside a 3rd Gen 2500. I happened to look at the front bumper and noticed that the insert in the steel bumper on it was different than mine. After coming home and doing some research, I found that the diesel has an insert with an open center for airflow to the intercooler.

I'm all about those small things that are different, but just different enough that people can't figure out what's different. I shaved the grille and I'm painting the steel bumper body color. I think putting the diesel insert in my truck would be another one of those things that would be a little different without being in your face noticeable.

Thoughts?

I think it's a good idea. :happy107:

So I've almost finished up my bed on passenger side getting all the dents removed. Only had a few hrs total to work on it the whole thing is sanded and most the dents are corrected but I've got a couple more to do.(swiped a gate post)

I'm assuming he likes them haha. They fit great, and look pretty durable. I'm sure I'll enjoy mine.

I called around trying to find the diesel inserts for the bumper and the only place that even had a listing for them was the Dodge dealer. They are almost $50........ each.

Looks good man! Almost bought me some bed rails like that the other day. Which brand are they? The set I was looking at had bad reviews of them being uneven and cut wrong.

Thanks, another thing I remembered was the cab support, my boy just started working at the garage he took it to and could do some of the work but he's not all that ambitious helping with our vehicles, think he only tried to get it inspected because he wanted to take it camping for 5 days with his friends, which means showing off, he never remembers we were teens too once. Ha ha.
