I picked up a set of the OPT7 Capacitors that I posted earlier and tossed in some old led headlights in for fogs no light out messages and from what I can see no flickeringIv noticed sometimes the right side will flicker and go off. I guess I'll be trying the anti flicker
I wouldn't see why.Would there be any harm in cutting those two wires off the harness and solder the connection? The wires don't go to anything on the other side of the harness obviously.
Only thing that I can think of is (if they aren't plug and play style) is they are either wired backwards or don't have the right resistance. The computer is sensing a different resistance than its set parameter so it is turning the fogs off.Okay I wired in two canbus anti flicker modules from diode dynamics. Now both lights flash 3 times and shut off. Any thoughts? It's starting to become a headache.
I would think that would work. The fogs have harness and red and black wires. I don't think I miss wired anything.
I'm wondering how well adding a relay would do. One of the fog wires to the relay then ground. Then dedicated wire from battery through relay. Would that work or would there still be a risistance issue?
Could be it takes just a split second to long to provide the proper resistance at startup compared to turning them on after the truck is running. It's definitely oddOkay, interesting thing I'v noticed. If I try to turn them on when I first start the truck they flash. But if I wait a min or so they come on fine it seems? Had 3 times in a row no issue that way. Still wired with the modules on each side. Any thoughts of why they would flash if I turn them on earlier?
