So for those of you who may have been researching the westin contour bull bar in the description it say "will not fit models with plastic bumper". Well today I set off to prove them wrong. Another member on this forum I believe did it but Photoshop killed his pics.
So everything in the install directions is the same on the plastic bumper until you bolt on the support bracket. The lower valence support is in the way of the bracket fitting into the slots you cut into the lower valence. Now I'm sure someone could figure something better but this worked for me. I was able to trim away a corner section of the support bracket to get the bull bar mount in place. Took a bit of cussing and a few cigarettes but I finally got it in place. The drivers side (second pic) was definitely trial and error and it got hacked to ****. The passenger side (first pic) turned out much better.
Also the front trim piece either has to be removed or what I did was fit every thing up and take measurements on slots I needed to cut for the center supports. Then I removed the bar, cut my slots and was able to snap it back in place and finish installing it. I have a pretty badass wood burning tool that I used with an exacto blade attachment to do some of my cutting the rest was a dremel.
It was definitely a bit of a fight but I think the finish product when light bar comes in will be well worth it. Hope this can help someone that is looking into this bar but has a plastic bumper.
