Smoked headlights

Looking for info on smoking the headlights on my ram. I see eBay and Amazon specials but am always leery about the quality of that stuff. I’ve come across pre-cut tint film and sprays. Do ant of them work well? Should I go down to our local tint place and have them do it? What is my best option here?

They are pretty awesome considering they are a direct fit, are cheap, and look great.

Those look awesome on your truck. How’s the light output? Is there a major difference between these and the stock clear housings?

I like the light output more with these. They seem to cast the light farther with a more focused beam. I had to use my fog lights with the stocks and now I don't with these.

The only difference I can see between the two is this part in the middle of the low beam:
