Well today I went on an approximate 55mile round trip and I took some pics of my Redline 30wt oil temps ...it's a little cool here today but just to show how cool the oil temps are you gotta watch the coolant temps . You'll see my oil temp is almost always lower than the coolant temps .
Pay attention to the mileage !
The fist picture is about 10 miles into the trip . The next pics are in order and one is in a McDonald's drive though ( for the wife not me ) and the last picture is at home after some very spirited driving in an attempt to get the temps up ha ha the wife almost dropped her drink in the floor type spirited driving [emoji16][emoji16]
Remember pay attention to the mileage and coolant temps .
Notice the above pic , to all that think the " LOL THICK 30wt LOL " runs hotter and this drives up the oil pressure at 70+ mph this pic is for you . This is about 15 miles into this trip and at 73mph the oil psi is 55 with oil temp only 194°
This pic is setting at a stop light after a few miles of in town driving and the oil temp is basically still the same as the coolant.
This one is after going through McDonald's drive through waiting on 7 vehicles in front of us
And finally back at the house after some serious spirited driving ....
