Thanks again. Based on my 11 5.7, you can easily go 40000 miles on the copper plugs. Changed mine at 30000 miles and figured my next change would be at 75000 miles.

Unplug coil. Loosen 2 captured screws on coil. Pull coil out. Thin wall deep well socket (wit da rubber innards) to remove plug.

Obviously compressed air to blow everything out well before disconnecting/removing each thing.

Why not order online? Nick just sent me 7 qts and it was wrapped in bubble wrap and paper filler. I could have kicked that box down my drive and the qts of oil woulda been fine.

My only complaint was the box had other brands on it so I thought Santa brought me performance parts that I wasn’t supposed to see. Lol.

What is plastic? A beneficial byproduct of refining oil used for incredible benefit to man kind. But then it get tossed, and becomes toxic to our environment, until now? Researchers a few years back have discovered a way to burn plastic as clean as natural gas, and why not they are simply both separated from the same liquid, it's all about process. If you heat the plastic hot enough in an 02 absent environment it turns into a gas, that when you add air can be turned into fuel. Build an engine to burn cleaner then gas and just use old plastic anyone? Or ban plastic from the planet? lol. Article. Necessity is the mother of invention, best quote ever.

We did fine without plastic until the early 60s when its use became widespread. Brought on on the "disposable" era.

Well, we will be there again because I don't think anyone actually thinks we wont be running out of ground oil this century. Glad I'm in my fifties

Lol there would be no checking the fluid level at a gas station while on a long trip.

Even better, lots of indications in the service manual and from talking to service department that anything ZF is pre-filled *from ZF* and not to be messed with.

Do they even check fluid levels when delivering a truck to a customer?

Do we blindly rely on ZF getting their process perfect and that no fluid was lost in transit?
