So I just finished my Sound System in my Ram 1500, its actually a upgrade to the upgrade. I wasn't happy with the first system so I was just going to add a Sub and ended going all in at my local Car stereo shop. Yanked out the JVC head unit and JBL speakers with sound ordnance amp and went with a Alpine ILX-207 head unit, Sony XS-GS1621C component speakers, and two JL Audio 10 inch subs with custom non ported box under the seat with a Arc Audio X2 1100.2 five channel amp. Man this thing ROCKS !!! IMG_20210123_162247.jpg IMG_20210123_162915.jpg IMG_20210123_162247.jpg IMG_20210123_162915.jpg

Yessir! 2014 1500 bighorn, I lost the sensor holes but kept the whole setup so it's just a matter of drilling rear holes and getting new bumper cover with sensor holes. I'm considering front camera instead though, since it already has the backup camera I'm not too worried about the sensors

Man!..that looks great!!!!

Nice work!

Looks good. I have the Alpine iLX-W650 and have been debating whether I want to go with one or two subs. I do like my music loud but not a ridiculous amount of bass. To me there’s nothing worse than bass hitting so hard that you can’t even tell what is being played. My problem is that I really don’t understand the ins and outs of pairing the right head unit, speakers, and amp. I can hook up just about anything. As long as I can find the right setup.

I usually install my own equipment also, I actually wanted one sub but after listening to two subs it was night and day. I also don't like the boomy but with the adjustment dial you can have as much as you want. What I have noticed is the different levels of bass that I hear also the same music that I have been listening to I now hear different sounds and thats through Spotify. When I crank it up now its got Punch so much more than before.

Got new wiper blades. They only had 1 Bosch Icon in stock, so I got the Bosch Focus line for a few bucks more. Just in time for all the snow and slush.

drove it in the snow, but barely enough to get the motor warm. Got my first oil analysis back from blackstone.

Everyone settle down, that world's loudest pop you heard was me pulling my head out of my ****. I was verifying for a post on here about Android 11 and AlphaObd working. When I made the original statement, I could read the truck's info file (whatever you call it). The next day I thought I better run through a few of the tests like headlight on, VTA light on, washer motor etc. Well I was getting errors and thought to myself oh shoot I gave out false info.

Took me a whole 12 hr work shift after saying to myself "I can READ the info (configs and gauges), but I can't SEND the command to start the tests" over and over and over. While having a talk with mother nature, the light bulb came on. I can READ but not SEND. You see a couple of months ago I had an issue caused by the fuses not being pushed down all the way and made the truck where it would not start. I had ordered a tow to the dealer and while I was waiting I took out the security bypass cable. And I realized that I never put it back in after getting the issue resolved. Gawd it suks getting old.

Looking at some new tires for my AR Baja rims and went into the Mickey Thompson site and found that they have a Visualizer that has my exact truck. Kinda cool. Their MT Baja's are real similar to my AR's, so this is fairly accurate. Playing around with some ideas for a Michigan trip this summer where I'll be hitting the trails and dunes out on the eastern side of Lake Michigan.

the visualizers are fun to play with. Once I got my wheels, I haven't gone back to look at anything new :) I can't afford to, or have a need to.
