Just curious if I am the only that got a special truck that has the trailer brake controls, trailer receptacle but no hitch even though it is listed on my build sheet?

I couldn't see that it was ever installed. Can you see where it was ever bolted on the frame? Sounds like maybe the dealer took it off to install on another truck and forgot to replace it.
I have the receiver, no hitch though. It definitely states on the build sheet there should be a hitch:Odd you would get the brake controller but not the receiver, it's usually the other way around.
Might be worth checking the build sheet or window sticker to see if the truck was built with it.

I highly doubt the dealership removed the factory Class IV receiver as it part of the piece that ties the frame together. There is a bolt on Class III but those are dealership (or owner) installed items.
No sir!Warlock2024 is your truck a Sport by any chance? I ask because my 16 Sport came with the same hole in the bumper.
^^^ this is correctLooks like it is a hole in the bumper for a ball.
No sir!
Thanks! That's why I asked, wasn't sure what was supposed to be there. However, there is no way I can put a ball on there AND a trailer, UHaul for instance, and the trailer not hit the license plate, there just isn't enough space.^^^ this is correct
This has been topic of discussion before. If you read the writing molded into the plastic on the bumper it spells out Class III 5000 max weight with 500 lbs tongue.
@Warlock2024 that listing on the build sheet is for the hole. To have the below bumper 2" receiver there needs to be option for a Class IV hitch.

You can find them a lil cheaper than Mopar. IMHO, if I was U, no way Jose on a Bumper pull, I would get the Class IV and have installed, and if U have the knowledge install yourself. BUT: The Mopar site does not List Warlock as a Choice for Vehicle Fitment. SO before U go order, OP, U need to do more research. URL I posted above for FYI only, do not order just based on this post.
@crash68: Wat is up? No Class IV's for Warlocks??? Isn't Warlock just a fancy Gen 4 truck? Would hitch for a Gen 4 work? hmmmmmm.
U need to research and make sure u get the correct one for your truck since Mopar site does not show yer trim. I would bet it fit but u need to get correct fitment for your specific trim.Thank you!!
Are you referring to the actual "hitch" (the thing with the ball on it), or the receiver (the entire frame part bolted to your chassis)?Just curious if I am the only that got a special truck that has the trailer brake controls, trailer receptacle but no hitch even though it is listed on my build sheet?
