I've been putting off doing an HID upgrade to my fogs,
concerned the extra output in a reflector housing would have too much light scatter.
You're the first one I've heard confirm there is a real risk.
I know an HID bulb in a reflector headlight housing is a big issue,
but thought the fogs are mounted low enough to stay out of on-coming traffics eyes, guess not.
So a projector retro fit makes sense , but its not cheap ouch!
No problems with mine.
But I do think they should be aimed a little lower.
Can the fogs be adjusted?
I think it's just Florida and the older drivers. No one flashed me while riding around with HID fogs and the FX-R's driving thru Kentucky and Tennessee the other day.
I think the projector fogs would help with the scatter in actual fog. I got a lot of glare from them in the mountain fog in the early AM.
