Is the blower noise really normal
It's more of a constant hum, light a slight rub of the motor internals. No squeal, squeak or any easy fix noises. It's more noticeable on lower to mid speeds as the higher speeds drown out the noise. Is the blower noise really normal
Not sure how, the autozone VDO part number went to the same ever something that was the same label and part as the Four Seasons I already tried. Not sure if somebody put it in the wrong box but it was noisy as well. Oreilly's has a Murphy's brand I'll try in the morning.- brusk

I'm returning the Four Seasons blower and will try a VDO unit from the local parts store to see if that is any better. if not I'll return it and see if the dealer will let me try a new one.- brusk

Who makes the TCM for that trans? If the mechatronics are controlled with german programming like the BMW is then it might never be cracked. Certain model BMW's have been more than 8 years for somebody to step up and crack theirs.- brusk

Shudder/Vibration when WOT downshifting
132K on it. I've only had it a few thousand miles so not sure what the maintenance was. I knew I heard not to WOT from 5-4 but didn't know 3rd was an issue also. Is this a 4th gen issue? I never had any problems in my 07. Is this a programming issue or hardware issue? If there's hardware upgrade...- brusk

I know I've heard somebody mention this but just happened to me a little while ago on the highway. I floored it at 60mph and went from 5th to 3rd and it wasn't happy. Fuel additives and cleaners?
It really depends. Seafoam can work wonders on outboard boat engines. Most of the engines I've seen that needed a good cleaning are owned by people that don't maintain their vehicle and wouldn't even consider some of these products. Differences between Jay Green and Hemifever
A Dyno is definitely a tuning tool, but it can also be more than that. While I agree Dyno's are not created equal and internet comparing is overall useless a Dynojet isn't the worst internet comparison tool available. Anybody comparing tunes should definitely hit the dyno to see the difference...- brusk

OBX headers installed
I tried defoulers on my 07 as a cheap option and couldn't get rid of the check engine. It did delay how soon it turned on but always came back on. I even tried the steel wool around the sensor trick.- brusk

What do you guys think about this engine build?
Guess that's my point the SRT 6.4 already outflows ported 5.7 setup I see it being difficult for an SRT setup to push that kind of torque let alone a truck setup. Race fuel maybe but see that being a little much for pump. I'm game to see the dyno when it's done though.- brusk

What do you guys think about this engine build?
Sorry I'm not understanding how the 500 ft lb or torque is coming into here. a SRT 6.4 is 470, a truck 6.4 is 429. Even if you stroked a SRT 6.4 to 6.6 I don't see 500 happening.- brusk
