OK so I went to open the hood on my "97 1500 and after pulling the inside lever the hood popped up about an inch like normal. When I reached in under the grill to push up on the little release lever it fell over sideways. Somehow it came off at the top and where ever it attaches to the grill...
So your 11 year old truck with who knows how many miles suddenly developed a "design flaw?" That's hilarious!
Who do you explain all the bazillions of 6.7 trucks out there with ZERO problems if there is a design problem? :manos:

How many bazillions of these 5.7 Hemi engines are out there with the normal acceptable oil PSI they came with from the factory? Are the all failing because of not high enough oil pressure? I seriously doubt it.
I might agree with you if you could show us proof of someone actually being found liable for causing an accident with bodily injury when a tow vehicle was overloaded WHILE TOWING A RECREATIONAL TRAILER.

I already asked for someone to post a pic of the citation they received after being stopped, inspected and weighed while driving a recreational vehicles.

Wow! It's amazing how you had the foresight to take the VW and have it dino tested before AND after so you would know exactly how much HP and torque was lost. :manos:
Our owners manuals don't say synthetic must be used because it's "better" for the turbo.
It says you can use the correct synthetic or dino oil for whatever climate truck is used. So apparently dino oil will do the job just fine. No need to spend extra $$$ needlessly because it's "believed" to...
