Bump. I've got fuel at the rail, spark at the plug, & it still won't try to fire.
No ideas from anyone? A mechanic told me to test that the crank sensor is getting 5v at the plug, so I will try that the first day it stops raining. he also said to look for the phrase "nobus" on the cluster...
Ok after plugging the crank sensor back in I AM getting spark. At least to the #1 cylinder. And I tested the fuel rail again & I have pressure.
But still no start. the #1 piston is at the top when the timing mark is at TDC as well

Unplugging the crank sensor made no difference. Still wouldn't attempt to fire and gave me a p0320 code.
Turning the throttle sensor to the left made no difference. Either

Cliffnotes: 2002 4.7
-Driving truck home & out of nowhere it started bucking real hard like violently shaking. Acting like it was running on 1 cylinder & trying to stall.
-Tried to make it the 7 miles home
-about 2 miles later it dies.
-tries to fire but won't stay running more than 1-2...
Fixed. Lol
I also have to weld in patch panels on both bedsides of the 07, finish repairing the dents in the SRT-10 hood, install cab running lights, then paint the whole thing + the leer camper before putting the whole chassis onto the 2002's frame. But I'm going to do all that next semester...
Replaced brakes on the front end of the 02. Still want to replace the rear brakes & rotate the tires before my new semester starts on Monday if I get time.
Now I desperately need to figure out why I have no compression in cylinder 7 of the 07 & get that fixed ASAP. I also have to pull the LS1...
Took a 250 mile round trip today getting 9.8mpg on the interstate in this junk 4.7 to pick up this...
Leer 100XQ + pulley system to remove/store it for...... *drumroll*....$400!

So I'm putting my 07's complete body & drivetrain onto my 02's frame. Trying to figure out which performance accessories kit to get.
it appears the kits for 03-08 all have the same basic parts with the 06-08 having a few extras. The 2002 has it's own kit with only the front bumper brackets...
touche. the only place around here that has 3rd gen rams is this guy literally on my street. sells beds for $1,000. Seats for almost $1,000. Wanted almost $600 for a power door I needed.
I can't really go for that when I only paid $3,500 for both my rams, running & driving.
