So I'm putting my 07's complete body & drivetrain onto my 02's frame. Trying to figure out which performance accessories kit to get.
it appears the kits for 03-08 all have the same basic parts with the 06-08 having a few extras. The 2002 has it's own kit with only the front bumper brackets being a different shape, but what appears to be the same mounting points.
Reading the instructions shows the 06-08 has a different procedure for cutting/installing the front bumper brackets vs the 02-05 (The "frame horns" are different as shown below).
So should I go with the 03-05 kit as it's $100 cheaper than the 02 with almost identical parts? or the 06-08 (since that's the body going on) which is even cheaper? Or does it even matter since I don't have much of a problem modding/fabbing?
