Yep, it's dark under the bed cover (I have a white truck but got a bedrug).
Trying to decide battery operated stand-alone or wired.
Before anything, I got too much projects to finish (around the house & garage).
I guess every blackbetty got bad ass vehicles:)
Here's mine:)
I wanted CC w/ 6.4 bed.
There have been a few times that I was glad with 6.4 bed though quite a bit of difference compare to my old truck (04 QC).
I've used Proclip mount on 4 other vehicles, and this is the 5th one (that I rigged a little).
I am not favoring it blocking (not entirely though) the vent & a little floppy by the way I set it up so I am thinking about rigging something else now.
You are correct, and passed the test:)
I had it switched around, and needed to flip.
I did not take any pics after that.
I was hoping none would notice........
The driver side was a different story.
I had to shave a port of the retainer ring.
1st pic shows the ring removed.
2nd is how the ring was shaved off where the ballast hits against.
3rd is how everything is inside.
I managed to break the lower bottom push pin (passenger side) when I took the...
2013+ HID headlights kit done
I got the kit from Jeremy last month and I am very happy with it.
I just wanted to post some pics here hopefully would help others considering the kit.
2013+ HID (for factory projector) 35W kit:
2 x HID 35W bulbs
2 x 50W ballasts (he was out of 35W)
2 x...

If the kit is working, I wouldn't worry about it.
As for the light patterns, I am guessing the passenger side is what you have a shadow (of the brown piece).
The bulb goes in one way...
I have the kit contains:
2 x HID 35W bulbs
2 x 50W ballasts
2 x AMP connectors
2 x canbus adoptors
I was able to put them all in but I removed the bulb retaining ring, put all in, then reinstalled the ring.
I still have to so the driver side.
So far, I managed to break the passenger...
Jeremy just cleared everything for me through email, and OK to run 35W kit with 50W ballasts.
Instead back ordering mine (he was out of 35W ballasts), he shipped with 50W ballasts.
I ordered yesterday morning, and I got the kit today. Super Fast shipment!!!
Thanks.
Good to know there is nothing burns my arm on this kit.
I am not sure if they use or design 50W ballasts for all (35W & 50W) HID kit or OK to use 50W ballasts for 35W kit.
My brain is not trained for electrical work and I have no idea how those thing work.
I hope Jeremy will...
