I have a 2012 1500 (6 speed) single cab, and don't know what gears I have. I have stock 33 inch tires and plan on keeping a tire that tall. So my question is where can I find my gear ratio? At 6k rpm in first gear I am going 50 mph if that helps at all, just trying to decide to re gear or not. Thanks!

If you are indeed doing 6k at 50mph, then by my math you have 3.92s.

4.56s will definitely make your truck more, feel lighter off the line, and improve overall driviability with the 6spd trans. The shorter gears will even reduce strain on the trans. The only negative would be a slight 1-2mpg loss on the highway depending on speed.

Thanks for the info, I figured that's what I had but wanted to be more sure before I bought 4.10 or 4.56 gears.

The difference between the 3.92's and the 4.10's in very little. If you are set on going to a lower gear I think the 4.56 will give you a significant change in acceleration. Matt at Moe's Performance has had a lot of experience running the same gear ratios you are talking about. You might give him a call before you invest in any new parts.
