Ya know that ought to be factory equipment.. if you ever had to do something away from home that would be just the deal.Wow,
I actually have that EXACT step under my back seat. Just green.....
The best (or worst) I remember is the B-52 "elephant walks" at Minot when there were 15-20 of them and we lit them off with gunpowder. That was in '14. Now that's a smell for ya.
Very similar to this.
When they block the roads, that is because they are likely transporting a weapons component for maintenance/inspection. You will undoubtedly see several helicopters followed by an unmarked semi and many humvees in a convoy. it is quite the sight.I think they were doing a drill today. North of town right before you really leave Minot they always seem to be doing drills up there. They block the road and it a pretty neat show.

I've done that many times on previous vehicles and it works great. You can easily see when it starts getting nice and bright red. It's tedious and you have to do 3 or 4 times if it's really dirty but it works great.Have.m any of you guys done the turkey baster fluid change on your power steering and or break fluid? Do a few empty and refills on the reservoir tank over a few days of driving to help cycle the new stuff in.
Kinda the same concept as a regular transmission fluid change. Only part of the old fluid comes out.

+1 to power bleeder. Takes all of an hour from start to finish to bleed all 4 lines. No need to have someone pumping brakes or anything.Ive changed power steering fluid once, in any of our vehicles in the past 20 years. When I did, I used the turkey baster method because bleeding the rack is a PITA. I suppose it wont ever be an issue with my '17 RAM
Brake fluid I purchased a Motive Power Bleeder and use that instead. Once its setup its about 15 minutes of work to get new fluid through the whole system AND the brakes end up air-free as part of the process. The universal adapter works OK, but Ive had plans in the back of my mind to buy replacement master cylinder caps, threaded-to-barb fittings and some hose to make "custom" adapters for each of my vehicles.
6'1, 275. No issues reaching the dip sticks. Need a ladder to clean the windshield and roof, though. Truck is +1" from stock in the front and -1.5" from stock in the rear.

No, no. It's UP 1" in the front and DOWN 1.5" on the rear from stock. Truck is normally 3" higher in the rear than the front. It's now completely level.Wait...
You raised the rear up higher than the front? Most do it equally or raise the front higher than the rear.
