That looks great. I’m considering going up in tire size but I’m concerned that It will make it too sluggish. What tires are you running with your v6? Any noticeable changes in performance?

How bad did the 12.5 wides affect the truck?

The mud tires did effect both performance and mpg.

The pedal commander took care of the performance issue. However the mpg suffered about 2-3 mpg. I was getting about 16.5-17 mpg. 19-20 hwy

I switched my setup to now include 33x12.5 20 A/T tires and now i get about 19 mpg city and 21-22 hwy. plus I’m rid of that sound n rumble lol

Shouldnt much matter V6 or V8 to the Bilsteins as the springs are not going to be the same for both engines any way. 2.1 should end up pretty much as advertised on each truck 8 or 6

Great, I really like the tire as they work well in rain/snow.

I’m considering going up to that size. I am worried that the added weight and size will cause the V6 to get sluggish. And possible cause issues on the highway going in and out of 8th gear.

There still the stock size, just a little wider then the factory size... I do quite a bit of highway driving and haven't noticed any difference.

Here is my pentastar v6 last year shortly after leveling with bills. They are set at 2.1. I didn’t want to max them, fearing a harsher ride. Glad i didn’t. 2.8 would have been to much for my liking. I don’t mind a small very small tad of rake. Even though I barely see any

Bro I have a question for you. I'm waiting on my 19 Long horn to come in and tossing around the idea of leveling. I currently have a leveled GMC Seirra with Bilsteins 5100 on max setting.......22 inch rims and 285/50/22 Nito Terras. The size of my "rubber" is just a tad over 33s. I love how the bilsteins handle.....no mushiness, tracks well, feels solid..............but you mention not going "max" on yours because you don't want a harsh ride. The harshness I feel when hitting bumps, over tracks, or the lack of rebound I fill over speed bumps...........do you think that's because of max setting on my bilsteins.........or is it those heavy dang tires/rims? Just wanted your opinion. I want bilsteins on my 19 Longhorn, but will stick with the stock 22s and tires.......but I don't want the harshness I feel from time to time....the lack of rebound.

Well i have no proof of it. But to my research on the matter ( I did plenty ) the overwhelming response was a stiffer ride when maxed. I drove my cousins 4th gen maxes and I can feel it. He says mines feels more mushy. Lol
