    No More 4th Gen

The truck was a 2wd, the tire issues went away with the airlift set up, mileage never changed, when I got rid of it I had 45k on it so break in wasn't an issue Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    No More 4th Gen

Excessive fuel consumption was my major issue, unloaded in town I averaged 8 miles to the gallon driving like a grandpa, on the highway I averaged 9.5. The dealership had the truck for three weeks, verified my concern and the solution was an $800 service outta my pocket that did nothing. The...

    No More 4th Gen

Well hated to do it but fuel mileage was killing me and only getting worse. After some dealings and headaches with Chrysler and getting no where quickly I decided to walk away from it, I did however replace it with a third gen Cummins. I bought a new dd as well, just a gas mizer to get back...

    Handheld Scan Tools

Innova makes a great handheld for the price, I've got a Bosch that spends most of its time sitting because my 350 innova can read just about anything I need it to including abs on some models

    Air Lift 1000 ?

I did go with an on board compressor, I tow two drastically different trailers. I used the wireless one comp from airlift, mounted under the truck tucked up higher, it sure is nice to press a button and ride instead of having to find air after hooking up a trailer

    After market brake controller

I never found one, I hated the thought of a controller hanging but, for the sake of safety I went with the p3 prodigy and love it, it's in plain sight and I have gotten use to it being there.

3000 miles, tires are getting feathered edge...

Get use to it, everyone I know has had issues with the stock goodyears, mine have feathered since new, they've checked alignment, they sent it to a Goodyear store, they've road forced balance and on and on and on. With 20k on my truck they will be coming off in the next 8-10k miles.

    Need some help!!

I tow a 20 foot enclosed with a 2 foot v. I have an aftermarket brake controller, air bags, and a wireless compressor for the bags. Trailer with my beetle in it is 5500lbs. I put it in drive and use my tow haul mode shifts nicely and keeps power in useable rpm ranges

    Spark Plug Question

Stay away from the e3's. The link from Moes is your best option, we've had several builds come in where a customer read on a forum how great the e3 was and was the root of all there tuning issues. There's to much resistance in the plug and will create havoc in any hemi product at some point in...

    Fumoto Valve

A lot of our equipment in the rental field use them, we replace a fair amount due to leakage or debris getting lodged in them, just another source for an oil leak IMO

    Write off or repair?

My dad Does freelance insurance adjusting, I highly doubt that's a total loss, it's a pretty "common" repair in the collision industry, looks like its basically a front clip

Front windows tinted to match rear

Looks good, I did 10 all the way around. Question, if its illegal in your state why would you advertise who did it, it's nice to give a shout out but there are police units that scroll keywords on public forums in some states looking to shut down shops that stretch the law, I know first hand...

    New Towing Goodies

The pics of the comp are kinda vague but if you look closely at them you can see they are mounted to the inside of the rocker structure, mounted under the rear door

    New Towing Goodies

The install was super easy, hardest part was figuring out where to mount it, I ended up mounting it under the truck behind the in floor bins. As far as the brake controller is concerned, I wanted something a little more capable than the factory unit. I didn't have a factory one in my truck but...

    New Towing Goodies

The toy truck brought me some goodies from the intraweb. I've had the air springs for a little while and was looking to regulate them a little better, I tow two drastically different trailers and got sick of constantly deflating and inflating to accommodate the two. So back to searching and...

anyone else's crew cab do this?

My 12 did it about 2 weeks in, they replaced the light and it still did it, ended up putting some rope butyl, little messy but works great

Whats biggest thing you've towed with your 1500?

I hear ya there, I used to work with industrial generators some of the heaviest awkward trailers I've dealt with. my brother has a 2500 4x4 we use on road trips that handles the trip better and maintains better control over all
