I'm suprised at the positive response from you guys...
I was expecting more like "don't accept a "used" transmission etc" I guess what they did was unusual..
the main reasons were:
a) the truck had 600 miles on it and I barely had it in my possession.
b) I bought 2 vehicles from them at the...
so I picked the truck up today after 11 days..
Changing the Valve Body didn't do it..
in the end they went whole 9 yards,
they took a truck off the lot and swapped the whole damn thing out
Torque Convertor, Tranny, TCM etc...
seems to be ok now, but I went straight to work and didn't have...
yeah I was thinking of that as an option as well... but those are dependant on luck (generally I have little of that)
on a side note I used to live in Ft. McMurray back in the day... nice to see another Alberton!
I'm looking at upgrading the rolling gear of my truck.. but change both wheels and tires together might be a little too hefty for the wallet at the moment
my dilemma:
it's brand new
I live on the other end of the globe
not many other vehicles to sell on to. so it will sit in the garage...

1.)where I live GM has much better resale then the Ford/Dodge counter parts
2.)you get a "new truck" which is more future proof for at least 5yrs vs a "face lift"

suspicions seem to be that it's the Valve Body causing the issue...
none available in stock.. ETA unknown...
they will check with other dealerships around.. but I doubt they'll find it there either...

so I took the Truck this morning to the Dealer, with the CEL back on..
they were saying it was due to miss-use truck was invoking limp mode to protect itself...
I told him to clear the codes and then come with me for a ride...
UPDATE:
so the truck spent the day at the dealer. They reset the codes and said the updated the transmission and test drove it. And said it was fine.
I picked it up after work and it did feel smoother and better overall.
But just before getting home there's many speed bumps in my area. And...
