Brand new ram and 2 awful different sounds

I had experienced the metal screeching on my 14 Ram. it only happened when the truck was cold, and the dealer couldn't figure it out. After searching the web, it turned out to be the exhaust clamp tab on the passenger side, between the cat & muffler. I tried finding a picture of it, but I can't...

    Rear Coil Spring Help

I have the 1223V. They're shorter than stock springs, but the back end sits the same height because they are stiffer and don't sag as much. The truck rides nice when the bed is loaded.

    2.1 or 2.8 billstien help

I wouldn't waste the time & money (even tho they're cheap) on Mevotechs if you set the fronts to 2.1. I had a new mevotech ball joint come loose a week after I put them on. Stock UCA's will be plenty good enough. I also have TufTruck springs in the rear with no spacer, rake is perfect.

    Bilstein/Zone UCA Questions

I honestly wouldn't use Mevotech UCA's, I had a balljoint pop within a week of putting them on. I put the stock UCA's back on and haven't had an issue. My Bils are set at 2.1

What type of fuel do you use in your 5.7?...

91 octane from Chevron, with HF tune. I've used 91 from AM/PM (BP fuel) and it ran like shit.

    BFGoodrich T/A KO2's All Terr.

I've had my G2's for just over 5,000 miles and they love to collect and throw rocks. that's my only complaint so far, we'll see how this winter goes. Overall I'm happy, and I didn't lose any fuel mileage. A guy at work has the KO2's and he lost 1-2 MPG.

    Bilstein question

It's all a matter of preference. Some like even, some like rake, some like slightly nose-high. I prefer rake, that's why I set mine at 2.1 with no rear spacer.

    Everything Bilstein Mega Thread

I would most likely go with 285-65-20 in the same tire, just for a little more width. I'm not sure what fuel mileage would be lost, but I didn't lose anything with the tires I have now. I also have a Diablo tune, and adjusted tire size... I will try to find a pic with more angle for reference.

Bils at 2.1, terra grappler G2 275-65-20. I don't have wheel spacers or rear spacers. No rubbing anywhere. You could get away with 285's and have no rubbing also.

    Everything Bilstein Mega Thread

I installed rear Bils and TuffTruck progressive coils in the rear. Unloaded ride is stiffer in the rear, but same height as stock, with alot less sag on light loads. I need to put a 1" spacer on the rear left side to make up for the "dodge lean" My front Bils are at 2.1 and the rake is perfect.

    Nitto Terra Grappler G2

I have 5,000 miles on my G2's and I like them. They are awesome in the sand and did good in the little rain we've had in the NW the last couple months. I went with the G2's over BFG because I didn't need anything that aggressive. My fuel mileage hasn't changed at all, A buddy at work has the BFG...

I didn't have the hesitation until I started using AM/PM gas. now that I'm using Chevron, there's no more hesitation. EDIT: however, my old Expedition with the 5.4 ran like a mofo on AM/PM gas, and ping'd with Chevron....

    Tires with bilstein

with your setup, either one of those tire sizes will look good, definitely won't look stuffed. I have bils at 2.1 with no spacer as a reference, tire size 275/65/20

    Need rear coil spring opinions

I would probably go with the 1223. I have the 1223V and the ride height is the same as stock. Distance from ground to fender is 39.75" on the left side, 40.75" on the right. I'm going to put a 1" spacer on the left side soon. There is a post in the tow/haul section that compares the different...

Fox 2.0 or Bils 5100 and rear coil springs

I like the Tuftruck TTC-1223V coils that i put in the rear. Also put new Bilsteins in the rear. The new coils are shorter than stock, but the ride height is the same is it was. It rides nice and stiff unloaded, and I'll be making a trip loaded with camping gear this weekend for a test.
