    Found a 2012 ram 3500 mega cab Laramie with the 6.7 cummins. Just wondering what kind of fuel mileage people are getting with the stock, and with a dpf delete? Is the delete worth it? Or should I be looking for a 13 with def? TIA

    Talked to the salesman about the 2013. Sounds like $50,000 + taxes is the lowest they will go. So be about 55k. Gonna stuck to my guns for now and told him that he has to do better than that.

    Ya I'm definitely not going to base my purchase on mileage. If I wanted mileage I would be in a different market. I was just surprised to see that kind of a number. The EVIC on my truck is off as well...... it usually reads around that 10 or 11. I try not to do the math. :suicide:

    I went to the dealership yesterday and took a test drive in a 2014 2500 SLT crew with the cummins. Overall I was very happy with the truck. We took it out on the highway and did some city driving with it as well. What shocked me the most was the fuel mileage. 25 mpg?!? according to the trucks...

    Ya I could. I just have to look into warranty issues and a few things like that. It will need an inspection and I will have to do some changes so it will pass (I believe that US vehicles are not equipped with daytime running lights) not sure what else there will be.

    ya I definitely don't need a dually. As far as how long my trips are they vary anywhere from 30 miles to 400 miles. Pulling anything from a 4.5 ton of fertilizer to pulling an 20 foot car hauler. We are also planning on buying a travel trailer appox.30 ft bumper pull.

    ya I'm considering pre owned, as I am trying to work with a budget. Im not really hooked on a 2500 or a 3500, or gas or diesel. As far as mileage I would like to get 15-20mpg. not sure I'm gonna get that with a 6.4. The two things I am stuck on is it has to be a megacab and has to be white.
