    This is just for the plastic (or Teflon) pad on the hook, not the hook its self or the two trim pins that hold it on. Don't know what the actual metal hook would cost or if it's even removable from the seat frame to allow you to replace it.

    I just bought the same exact tire from America's Tire and bought the warranty. The thing that convinced me is that if I'm out in the middle of the desert and cut a sidewall on a rock they'll cover it. If you take it off road it's probably worth getting it.
