Need to transport 8' diameter stock tank

If it was me, run a flatbed trailer with no sides, and run it horizontal flat. To risky vertical if wind catches it. But as someone else mentioned, check your laws about a wide load. Better to be safe than sorry.

    bouncing while towing...

Hey guys, I ended up moving the boat forward on the trailer about 4-5'' and seems to ride quite a bit better. Although I haven't been able to get it weighed, I certainly want to so I know what i'm working with numbers wise. I have about another foot of adjustment on the front bow stop. The boat...

    bouncing while towing...

As far as getting it weighed, should I just weigh the rear axle on the scale without my trailer then weigh just the rear axle with the trailer hooked up? Or should I weigh my whole truck without the trailer then weigh the whole truck and trailer combo? Whats the best way to get tongue weight on...

    Let's see your toppers

I have an A.R.E Z series. I love it honestly. Very clean smooth lines and flows really well with my crew cab. It has all carpeted inside, as well as twist out back vents that open to about 3-4''. Only downside I havn't liked about it is the lip that sits on top of the tailgate plastic cap. Is a...

Honestly, If I would do it again, I would get cats. I have long tube arh with catless and its quite loud for the average joe. Now I need to figure out how to quiet it down and get rid of the obnoxious "whrap" that is has.

    Ceramic coated headers temperature decrease

Agreed, thats why I have been watching it. I have switched over to the redline 5w30 as well lately also. But I don't see how that could drop my temp so much. I don't ever recall my coolant temp being 170. Has stayed consistant even after driving around and getting on it. Never seems to raise. I...

    redline oil

Great info, thanks again for the quicker response rather than having to read through hours of pages on the "oil thread" I have to read the oil thread for a weekend thoroughly and see what everyone is saying. I will definitely post a follow up somewhere on results if I do truly notice a differance!

    redline oil

Indeed temps drop significantly at night and during the day depending on the winter weather we have. I have read so much about this redline that I wanted to try it out! I dont have any "hemi tick" but have a little lifter chatter that I was hoping to quiet down with this oil that I havnt been...

    redline oil

Thats a good idea dexter, burla, wil the 5w30 be a thinner oil at operating temps or thicker? And will it effect the motor internally? I should know these things :|

    redline oil

Hey guys, need some advice real quick. Realized I bought 5w30 redline oil instead of the 5w20:Pshyco: I am not sure if being that its closer to winter that it would be ok? I have LT headers and diablosport 93 octane hemifever tune with mds shut off. Is this going to be alright to run? I...

    Let Me See Your Flares!

I have 35x12.5 kumhos on stock 20s with a 2'' spacer. I went with the bushwacker extend a flare and I love them. They fit perfect, painted with no issues and do not overtake the truck like many flares do. Overall left a very clean almost stock look to it. Also, did not have to relocate or remove...

ARH LT Headers - Jet Coat Recommended??

I recently bought arh longtubes for my truck. After having bbk shorties rust out and crack in multiple places after one winter in michigan. Regardless of them being stainless steel and trying to not drive my truck as much in the winter. I had them ceramic coated as well. Its well worth it. If...
