Color Matched Grill

Picked this up today for $100 on Craigslist.
Not the same color as my 2017, but I can paint this myself better than my chrome grill.

I'm going to call tomorrow to get the paint formula for PRV paint code and get a half of a pint. Scuff this up and paint and clear it. Also, going to paint the honeycomb black and clear it as well so it's glossy and a true black.

color matched is the only way to go. Mine was too. I was lucky to get my color

You gonna do something with the bumper too? Would look a lot better IMO if it and the headlights weren't so bright. They stand out big time against the color matched grill.

Curious to see how the honey comb turns out,considering this myself.I made a bumper insert for mine out of powder coated mesh.Mine has the colour coded bumper though.

Do the chrome inserts come out of your stock grill ? If they do you should sell them to me cheap...lol

Top pic is my truck. Pulled the grille out last night and seperated the inserts. Going to dechrome and colormatch the surround black and leave the inserts chrome. Hoping it looks something like bottom pic.
