    What would the alternative? I guess you could pay out of pocket to someone else, but that would be crazy... and still be a question mark. They lift cars and trucks all day, and I doubt they will mess up your side steps. If they damage something, then go after them.

    Yes, you can add the factory controller. The dealer will have to flash the computer to let it know it is there, but the install looks great and isn't crazy. No data on the second question...good luck!

    I'd wait for the new one regardless of which model you choose. If you love the new one, get a new one. If you love the 4th gen, leverage the fact there's a new one to get an even better deal. I don't like first model years for vehicles generally, but the Ram looks pretty evolutionary instead...

    It looks like it would be pretty frustrating to deal with all the HVAC migrating onto the screen. I don't know that I would pay 700 plus for 2 extra inches of screen. 2 extra inches of something else, maybe.

    If you can get a good rate, financing makes perfect sense. Invest the different in something that makes a higher return than your auto loan, pocket the difference. People get into trouble when they start trading around and get upside down, buying more than they can afford, etc.

    I have, and am happy with, the factory MOPAR rubber mats. They fit perfectly and show absolutely no wear.

    I'd just stick with the manual. I used to be all over bobistheoilguy.com. What I learned was --> so long as their is the right oil in there, and you change it at reasonable intervals, nobody ever has oil-related failures.

    2011 ram 2500 hemi atrocious mpg? Tuner?

    Tuner won't make enough of an MPG difference to ever make financial sense (for mpg gains alone). Have you hand calculated that 8.4 mpg and compensated for the larger tires? I could see 10-11 being not unrealistic, and definitely within the error for the larger tires and computer readout.
