7" clusters are sensitive to amperage draw where as the 3.5 s wer not , you'll need oem bulbs or resistors to mimic the oem draw the cluster is looking for to make the message go out .

Wish I could be more detailed sir , I'm sure to have the same issue with my LED Spyder tails and my LED back up bulbs here soon .[emoji13]

Yes the 7" cluster has encryption that the 3.5 does not
So if you have led tail lights or bulbs on your stock 3.5, once you put the 7" cluster it'll say they're out
So if you have led reverse lights and Spyder led lights on your 7" cluster it'll say parking light out and reverse light out

I work at Spyder and I brought it up to the manufacture last week but we will see what they do

I'd try Novus , it's a plastic polish , I'd use the super fine grit .

Maybe try a very fine automotive wax ?

Got mine today and did a test install to make sure everything works!!! I have a 2014 Big Horn and the TPMS reads correctly on the 2016 cluster. Now just just need to wait about 1000 miles til i hit the mileage on the new cluster.

Now I've got to wait til this Saturday for my new 2016 8.4" RA4 radio to arrive!!!

I can tell you Mother's plastic polish doesn't work. It didn't remove even light scuffing.

I always wondered why the screen went clear to the tach on the left side of the cluster??? Now I know why... cuz that little section is a screen in the tach gauge that scrolls options!!! Damn, these 7" clusters are cool!!!

RLK, great instructions, was very helpful for my swap which I just completed today after getting my cluster back from Dominic and installing a new lens/mask to replace the badly scuffed one that came on my salvage cluster. Just thought I would mention a couple items to make removing/reinstalling easier. Move the steering wheel to the lowest position. If you have a column mounted shifter, before disconnecting the battery, move the shifter to low. I didn't do this before I took my original out, it was much easier after doing this. If you have replaced your lens, leave the protective film on for additional protection until the cluster is bolted back in place.

Well here's a bit of interesting tpms info that might relate to the reason why the evic tpms compatibility changes around 2014/2015 (can't recall which year exactly).
When trying to order extra tpms sensors for my 2013 truck here's what I found..

Ref. Ram Body Builder site: www.rambodybuilder.com

- 2013 tire & wheel info
http://www.rambodybuilder.com/2013/docs/intro/twlnwv.pdf

** My 2013 ram 1500 uses:
433(.92)Mhz sensors
PN: 56029398Ax (superceded by 68241067AB)

** 2013 Tpms module: 56029542Ax
(433.92 Mhz by Schrader Electronics)
Located near left front foglight on backside of bumper.

I received 4x of the correct Mopar PN sensors, but 3x are 433Mhz and 1x is 315Mhz. So it seems like there was a transition to 315Mhz during the 2014 M.Y.

Anyone care to confirm the Tpms sensors PN & frequency on their 2014-2016 trucks? I'm under the impression that the 2014/2015 & up Tpms module in the trucks are made by TRW vs Schrader (2013 & older).

Hmmmm, interesting .
Is there anyway to figure out which ones you have with them installed with a tire ?
Build sheet ?

My guess is to go look at the module that's installed on the truck. Here's a picture of the same pn (2013 w/433Mhz) that I have from eBay...

Also, the Ram Body Builder site listed the same pn and frequency of tpms Sensors on their site/pdf

I believe the 2014+ are using sensors that work at 434Mhz. I looked it up for my 2016 truck and came up with PN# 68249197AA (with other PN that are alternatives also). Unfortunately I haven't been able to verify that is what is actually in my wheels.

I believe the 315Mhz is from even earlier than the 433Mhz version.

This seems to be one area in which the PN are not very straight forward!!!
