Nice. I had a 31" set of coopers on an s10 that I had and they did pretty well. I never did intense mud though.

I like how they ride. You can definitely feel that they're there, and they do pull sometimes when the road surface changes, but I love the howl that they give lol

Nice. Hopefully they aren't working you too hard over there haha.

Little update from the weekend of what I did.

1. New Pass front wheel bearing. Took away all the slop in my steering, excess vibrations when I would hit bumps, and a hard vibration when braking when going over 35 mph.
2. New front brake pads.
3. New EGR valve. Mine was crusty and making a weird ticking noise, so I swapped that out with one I bought a while ago.
4. Mobil 1 High Mileage full synthetic oil change.

Truck drives smooth now, but I still have an intermittent squeal coming from *I think* the passenger side. It wasn't that bad this morning. So it was either lessened by the cold this morning, or going away? We'll see this afternoon on the ride home. It doesn't pull to the passenger side anymore, so I'm pretty sure it's not my caliper sticking. The only other thing that rotates that I can think of is the CV axle, but why would touching the brakes make that stop squealing?

I'm thinking I might invest in a spacer level kit and some 1.5" or 2" wheel spacers, depending on what I can fit after the level with no rub. Also going to go on a little shopping spree at Harbor Freight pretty soon, as I have to invest in a 3/8" drive torque wrench and quite a few different sockets and what not. Might pick up a few things to help me practice my welding as well.

Did you do any bushings? I am ordering my brakes today and just thinking if I should get the control arm bushings in hopes the vibrations do not come back

I ended up not doing them honestly.. The new pass wheel bearing got rid of all my vibrations. I occasionallystill have squealing from my pass front side when not braking, so I think my caliper is slightly stuck. I changed my brake pads, and it still squeals, but I don't feel like changing calipers lol. I greased the caliper slide pins, but the issue is still there so I'm pretty sure it's the caliper.

I ended up returning the bushings haha

When you pull the caliper, pop out the pads and before pushing the piston back in, take a small wire brush to it. Mine seemed to stay out a bit and drag so I did that when changing pads and it helped. Also use some of that brake grease on the backing plate where it contacts the piston.

I greased the **** out of the back of the pads. I did not scrape off the caliper piston though.. I wish you could just WD-40 it lol... I really don't want to take the brakes back apart.

Nice. Didn't know you had a bronco. My wheel bearing only had slight side to side play.. so it didn't seem bad, but it made a huge difference when I changed it. If you have vibration up front when braking, I'd check that out. Still trading it in?

Kids are awesome. One of the few good excuses to let your truck fall apart lol
