09 1500 OEM Manual Tailgate lock

I am looking for the manual lock for my 09 tailgate. I have searched everywhere and cannot seem to find it. All I find is the electronic lock, which has to have the manual lock to work. ANY HELP!!!!!!!

Not cheap but this what your looking for? the picture I had found shows a manual key lock on it also but I believe it taps into the cars auto lock too

The first one is the same one I find all over. It doesn't have the manual lock with it... You must already have that part( which is what I can't find)

The 2nd one I just don't trust to actually work

I had to do the same thing with my 09..

Get the handle off ebay.

So how many of those pieces do I need? Handle, cylinder, the cylinder lever and the latch control?

I got lucky and found a handle with a lock already in it. But they don't sell them anymore.

So yeah, handle, lock and the locking Latch Control.

So do I need the cylinder lever to connect the cylinder to the latch control? By the way thid has been so much help.. I've been searching for days on this. I will be calling them tomorrow to order ASAP

You don't need the cylinder lever.

The latch control attaches to the back of the handle. Then take the two rods from each side and attach them to the latch control.

I installed a back camera at the same time when I did mine.

Sounds good. I ordered a handle last night. I'm gonna order the cylinder and latch control this morning... Then I can decide if I want the electronic lock for it or not
