14 express premium cluster upgrade

Was the donor vehicle an express also, or was it some other trim level?



I can find more 2014 clusters that 2016, and they appear to be a little cheaper also

The 7" cluster isn't available in the Express.

It is but it is kind of rare. It is part of the premium display group.

You are correct but it was offered in the 2013 only. It is not available on the 14 and up.

Anyone selling one? Thought I had one but looks like I got ripped off. My truck is a 16 Tradesman with almost 15k. I did the leather wheel and 8.4 so this would really complete the interior. I guess I will keep an eye on car-part and hope for a deal since I already lost $300 trying to get this done. I hate thieves.

From a member on this forum. I left feedback on him and contacted the admins. It sucks but I should have known better than to send money western union.

Sorry to her it was a scam that really sucks. I was kinda leary about it. Keep an eye out on car-par they do come up allot. You just need to keep checking. Make sure you get a pic or physical description before you pay for it to make sure it's a 7". I have bought several and sold them on ebay but don't do it it as much as I used to because I am so busy.

See, I told you it was rare! The only reason I knew it existed is because that is the model year I was shopping for years ago, I didn't know they stopped making it after one year.

It was 2013 only, but it was the "Luxury Group" and was available on SLT, not Express. In 2014 it became Big Horn only.




I had put together a giant matrix of option packages for 2013-2015 so when I was shopping I could figure out which package(s) I needed for a given year and trim level to get the options I wanted. Then I bought an Express with popular equipment group and sliding rear window as the only options. lol

Is that $825.00 buying the cluster and setting the mileage or just to set the mileage? Should be around $175.00 to set the mileage.

Fuel Consumption Problem

Has anyone had an issue with their fuel consumption and distance to empty functions?

I have a Canadian truck and have tried two different premium clusters and when I put it in drive, the fuel consumption goes to 99 l/ 100 km and my range starts dropping pretty quick. Is this normal operation? My old company truck was a Tundra and would display either -- or 0 in gear at idle. Can't remember which.

I've noticed glitches in my 3" cluster as well, like when I set cruise it will sometimes give me the setting in MPH and then when I select the the digital Speedo, it switches back to km/h. Also, sometimes the cruise set at x line isn't even there at the bottom until I go into the menu and back out.


Edit: Turns out this is normal when set to l/100 km

No Sir , Radio & Clusters and lots of other stuff electrical changed in 2013+ Rams .

Hello,
I just picked up a 7" EVIC cluster for a good price but it has less mileage than my current one. I plan to have the correct mileage programmed into the new cluster but I want to wait for a couple of months until a time when I will be away on vacation and don't need the vehicle. My question is; If I swap out the gauge cluster and drive it for a while is there a way to pull the true mileage from the vehicle and reprogram the new gauge cluster at a later date?
