doing the change isn't that hard, just time consuming in my opinion. also gave me a headache smelling all those fumes. just make sure you get cleaner to clean out the inside of your pan to remove the sludge and a putty knife to remove the old gasket from the pan to have a good clean surface to seal.

Just wondering, is it necessary to use the Mopar rtv sealant or can I just go to AutoZone and get the rtv stuff off the shelf?

You can use the auto parts store rtv. I used permatex transmission gasket maker
