I have a 1996 ram 1500 v8 5.2 it here lately has been spitting n sputtering n yesterday on way to work it lost power I had to floor it just to get it goin n lil after that it would lose power by 3rd gear. I could only accerlate to 30 to 10 mph. It idles fine just won't get up n go. Plz respond ASAP

Your cat may be stopping up or bad map sensor....could be ignition system. If not motor then your Tranny is crapping out
