I know you all know I've got four 100w bulbs on the bottom of both Dodge Ram trucks I have. Well here at RamForum I've seen a few Trucks with hidden fog/driving lights behind the grill. So I went to building the poor mans version from a piece of re-bar and flat stock.

So now here is the stealth lights...

one switch for the inside set and one for the out, I assume? Have you noticed any reduction in output once behind the grill? looks good.

Just one switch to disable them...

They are completely automatic fog/driving lights that follow the normal headlights. So 2 bulbs are low beams and 2 bulbs are high beams. So I have full control on the normal dimmer switch.

Nice feature is if I'm running just parking lamps them the fog/driving light come on only in low beam position. Impossible to accidentally have high beam on.

So when I turn off the headlights they go off as well. The one switch basically allows me to disable the fog lamp from following the headlights.

Here is the wiring diagram (with the black background is a bit tough to see) So here is the link to the actual page...

There is some degradation of the light going through the Gen 2 grill especially.
It looks like the lights he has are the spot pattern; (I ran the 130W Aircraft spots in the same location for my 'highs') a spot pattern doesn't try to flood near as much, and thus has less of a loss with the grill.

A fog light would likely suffer the most.

BTW, looks far better!
