1998 1500 Drivers side tail light/blinker issue

I have a 1998 dodge ram and the driver side blinker/tail light is not working. I have power to it and I know the bulbs and harness are good because I’ve switched it with the passenger side and it works just fine. The driver side front blinker works just fine. Is there a relay switch or something that isn’t sending the signal to the tail light?

I have the same issue with my 2016 RAM 2500. The only difference is my readout says my left tail blinker is out, but when I check it, it's working fine??
