I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel with HD suspension (8,800 lb rating) and am looking at upgrading from the Y steering to the T steering system. I have seen a few you tubes on 2000 & 2001 Rams doing this, but wondering if there is ANY difference from the 1999 and the 2000 and 2001 in regards to the front end, such as spindle diameter and fitment of the front ends?
Has anyone done the T steering upgrade on a 99? If so, what parts did you use and was there any fabrication needed? Does the pitman arm need to be upgraded as well, or can you use the existing pitman arm?
