so i happened to have this insane idea getting my 01 base model ram reg, cab short bed and converting it into a v10 shortbed dually is this possible i have a 1995 3500 v10 std dually so i wont require as many parts from junkyards, and has anyone done this before?

The largest issue you'd have is making the short box dually.
There are no 2G short box dually fenders.

if you can weld and do bodywork, go for it :)

cut the fenders off a long bed model and weld them in place of the stock ones and do the appropriate body work.

The length of the 2G dually fenders exceeds 6.5 if I remeber correctly.
Maybe some 07ish MegaCab Dually fenders?

i have seen a couple been done it but bodywork is not s problem my main concern was the front, because the dodge 3500 has a axle so im wondering can i upgrade to a 2500 and then just add the adapters or will it just bolt up dropping the stock front and putting the 3500 front
