2002 Overhead Console

Just like other 02's Ram owners out there, the sunglass holder tab is broken.
Since they've stopped manufacturing the whole console, I'm' planning to replace the entire unit.

Anybody had snap a 03' + Overhead console in the same slot ? How do you cover the original longer "hole" ?

Or does anybody else have different solutions in mind ?

i would say get hthe 03+ headliner as well should cover it right?

HAve you looked anywhere online? I've found them on ebay and bought one for a friend of mine that didn't have an account.. When I'm on there I usually try to find ones that are associated with junk yards.

I just picked a replacement up from the yard got tired of that broken sunglass holder myself. Have you checked Dakotas/durangos? My old 2000 had a very similar looking roof console to my 02 ram. In fact I bet you can swap the housing in with ease.
