ok people i have a 05' ram and i am doing the infamous solid axle swap ..
2001 ford dana 50 front 8 lug
1991 d259 dana 60 rear 8 lug
4.88 Nitro gears front and rear
Wilwood 4 piston calipers(including rear disc brake conversion)
Spidertrax 14" slotted rotors
1999 ram 2500 steering gear box
Procomp 4 link kit
Bilstein 5150 shocks
Atlas 8" lift leaf springs
Top Gun Customz 8" lift coil springs
Dual steering Stabilizer(undecided as of right now)
Also will be making replica road armor bumpers for front and rear out of 3/16" steel
I also have a 1976 440 mopar motor with 727 tranny which i will begin rebuilding towards the end of the year ... and yes i know alotta you will say why would you ditch the IFS an why would you go back in technology to the carburetor setup .. well its my truck and i will do what i want with it ... it is my daily driver as well but i have a company truck for work so i dont have to work about transportation .. my uncle and i will be doing all of the work on the truck an i have a good bit of the parts i already listed, only need to gather up a few more pieces for the suspension so pictures and updates will be coming soon in the upcoming month or so .. any other info or advice would be greatly appreciated
