2005 dodge ram 1500 4x4 SAS!!!

ok people i have a 05' ram and i am doing the infamous solid axle swap ..
2001 ford dana 50 front 8 lug
1991 d259 dana 60 rear 8 lug
4.88 Nitro gears front and rear
Wilwood 4 piston calipers(including rear disc brake conversion)
Spidertrax 14" slotted rotors
1999 ram 2500 steering gear box
Procomp 4 link kit
Bilstein 5150 shocks
Atlas 8" lift leaf springs
Top Gun Customz 8" lift coil springs
Dual steering Stabilizer(undecided as of right now)

Also will be making replica road armor bumpers for front and rear out of 3/16" steel

I also have a 1976 440 mopar motor with 727 tranny which i will begin rebuilding towards the end of the year ... and yes i know alotta you will say why would you ditch the IFS an why would you go back in technology to the carburetor setup .. well its my truck and i will do what i want with it ... it is my daily driver as well but i have a company truck for work so i dont have to work about transportation .. my uncle and i will be doing all of the work on the truck an i have a good bit of the parts i already listed, only need to gather up a few more pieces for the suspension so pictures and updates will be coming soon in the upcoming month or so .. any other info or advice would be greatly appreciated

how sounds like alot. be sure to post plenty of pics of the progress and finished project. Also for the bumper check out are new vendor Road Rhino they have a weld it your self bumper kit.

i dont think anyone on here will question you on wanting to ditch the IFS for a solid axle. if you have the time, the money, and the know how.... that will make for a BADASS setup. cant wait to see the progress on this.

ok so we have the rear dana 60 an my uncle in the first pic, then the front dana 50, third is the 440!!, fourth is rear brake disc conversion which consist of two piece hat and 14" rotor(luckly the hat will fit both bolt pattern 8x6.5 and 8x170mm) Wilwood 4 piston calipers and pads, and last but not least is my 4.88 nitro gears and bearing kits

8" lift coil springs and 8" lift leaf springs will be coming tomorrow!!! and ill get a pic of the steering gear box up wen i get it cleaned up

work will commence next weekend or so after i get the gears installed and have some time off of work

ok got my new coil springs in(still waiting on leaf springs which are on back order) and went to pull-a-part today to get the mounts i need for my coil springs in the front .. i found the only 4x4 dodge that they had and lucky still had the front end so i got out my sawzall and got to cutting the front axle and the front frame ... then wen i got it home i took the plasma cutter an cut the mounts out .. next weekend will be cleaning up the mounts an grinding the edges down as prep work .. also waiting on more money to flow in so i can finish ordering some other componets

well i got the rear end off an waiting for a few more parts to be shipped .. new dana 60 with 4.88 will be installed this weekend .. steering setup will consist of 7/8 high misalignment hyme joints with 1.75" tubing that has .25"thick walls .. sry ive been behind guys .. been really busy with work and OTHER things but this project will be complete by the end of the summer .. at least the suspension will be!!!! Then starts the 440 engine which will be bored out to a 502!!!!!!
