Hi guys, I installed a Mopar Brake controller in my 2012 Ram about a year ago. It has worked fine just using the voltage input but I want the menu to come up on the EVIC for additional settings. I towed my empty aluminum car hauler and it's too light for even the lowest voltage setting.
I called four dealerships - First said just the flashing will be 260-350. As "customer installed parts are not typically installed correctly". I laughed, told him that policy is garbage and called three other places.
90, 120 and 134.
ALL of them said the flashing takes 1/2 hour, and their labor rates are right around $130, so I am puzzled as to why it costs way more than their half hourly rate.
Any insight?
