So I did this mod but have realized a slight problem. I couldn't cut out a perfect square with the knife I had, so I had to do some trimming. Evidently a few small pieces of plastic made their way into the blower fan and now I have a pretty obnoxious rattle when I turn the fan speed up over the first setting. Any bright ideas for getting the pieces out? My hand can't fit down into the fan so that idea is out. Is there an easy way to access it from underneath???

I'm not sure because honestly I've never looked but if it's like the 3rd Gen's you can drop the whole blower motor straight out the bottom with 3 screws and one plug to undo.
It's worth a look under there.

When I type in the part numbers at Allmoparparts.com they don't recognize those numbers. I typed in 05058693AA and 68052292AA

Just did the cabin air filter mod and noticed that the courtesy light for the passenger feet has no wires going to it, any one else notice this or is the wire hiding somewhere??

Can someone tell me which part number they used that worked well. The one I used seemed too long and bunched up. Thanks

It should stick out about 1/4" and then the door covers it. Did you rotating 90 degrees?

Ya. It wasn't any better. Mine smashed in with the door on and folded in on the sides. I think when they did the part number conversion I ended up with a wrong part number.

Thanks. Ill try again. I gave them one of the part numbers last time they did their conversion and I ended up with one that seems too big. Ill see if I can order one instead of letting them find a similar part.
