Hey everyone,

I guess I'm that guy who drives his truck too much. 28k miles in a year, I am prob gonna replace my tires at 40k or if they wear down before then. Does anyone have any suggestions or have you replaced your stock goodyears with something that you really like?

Thanks

I will be getting an all terrain of some kind. Leading the way for me are the bfg at2 as it is a load range d tire in the stock size or the cooper discover atp. Just slightly higher load rating than the stock tires. I can't quite justify scrapping the stock tires with only 5000 miles on them and the used market for them is way overloaded.

I had duratrac's on my my 13. I just went a little bigger than stock but no rub. 285/60r20's. They wore great after 25k they still had plenty left on them but I was tired of the truck. They were good on the highway not as soft as the car tires that come on Ram. We're good when I was towing. Also worked good in the sand, dirt, and mud. I hear they are good in snow but I never got to try them since we don't get any in Houston.

I liked my nitto terra grapplers on my last truck. Barely any road noise, handles well in the rain and does fairly decent off road for an a/t tire!

I've got duratracs and I love them! They'll be going on my future truck for sure!

I would have had the 325/60r20's but after lift and wheels I had to settle for federal's but would get duratrac's after these wear out. They were some of the best tires I had. I nice mix between a AT and MT tire. Great in everything but quiter and smoother than a MT on the road.

I was a fan of the cooper zeon ltz. Tread looks great, good tire wear and worked well in various settings...limited on tire sizes though.

I find the stockers fine in loose snow ie 18" in the mountains but in 18"-2ft of packed snow they are not so good. I am not sure any tire would be that great in 2 ft of hard packed snow, could be wrong mind you.

I had toyo open country tires on my 99 2500 diesel and loved them. I was worried about the ride comfort as well on 20" rims. What size wheels do u have fravr1955

I love my cooper zeons, in stock size they are great. Come March I will be selling mine as I have leveled the truck and want to go bigger. It stupid on my part as they only have about 10k on them but they look a little smaller after the level. If I go 275/65 20 I Will get them again. If I go 295/60 20 then most likely nitto terra grapplers.

I put 275/65R20 Cooper AT3's on my 2011 Sport in November and love them so far. Aggressive looking with great tread and they are really quiet rolling down the highway or interstate. A little rub when turned at full lock in reverse but other than that no problems. I'm sure the other tires listed are also good but I do love my Coopers.
