2015 1500 Ambient Air Temp. Sensor

Hey all,

I have a 2015 1500 and my ambient air temp sensor has gone bad. I ordered a new one from rock auto and the part that I received doesn't match what's on the truck. I have replaced the mirrors with a set from ebay after mine got knocked off. I've had the mirrors on for 8 months with no issues until this. I'm a little confused on where to go from here. Any help is appreciated. Pic attached. What's in my hand is what rock auto shipped vs what came installed on the ebay mirrors. The plugs also do not match.

The outside temp sensor is on the bottom of the outside drivers' mirror. The one inside the truck, which is what you are looking at, is for the HVAC system. If the mirrors you got were from a pre 2013 truck, they didn't have the outside temp sensor in the mirror, it was under the front bumper.

Forgot to add, Boost auto does make the sensor as an add-on to the mirror
