2015 Ram Sport Crew Curb Weight

Sorry for the re-post as I am sure this has been beat to death... but for some reason I cannot find the info anywhere with my search-fu...

What is the 2015 Ram Sport Crew's Curb weight?

Yes I know it will matter what options to an extent but... anyone?

The reason I ask is that I read the 2016 Cadillac Escalade has a CURB WEIGHT of 5,840 pounds which seems like it should be wayyyy heavier than my RAM but I thought my RAM was to the tune of 6100 pounds.

Check your sticker for the tire pressure. On that sticker it will give you the payload number. It'll say something like not to exceed weight of 1350. If your gvw is 6900 take the 1350 from 6900 = 5550 and that should be your curb weight with in 200lbs. I doubt your truck weighs 6100 lbs I believe the loaded up larmies run a close 58-5900 lbs but I bet your closer to the 5500 than 6k

1500 CC Sports are usually 5200-5500lbs depending on options. Mine is 5,4xx with every option and the short-bed. Ram CC 2500's start around 6200-6300lbs.

If you want to know exactly what your vehicle weighs (as it sits now), find a *real* high performance shop nearby, not a neon-light and sticker place, and ask them if they have corner balance scales.

go to a landfill, scrap yard, dump, truck weigh station. they will weigh it for free or a small charge. my 3500 say something like 6,9xx in the book if i remember correctly.

That math says...5562 lbs plus bed mat, tri-fold soft cover, wheel to wheel steps... junk in cab...

So maybe 5700 lbs

My 2014 RCSB Sport weighed 5260 full of fuel,and my buddies 2012 QC Sport with a 1/2 tank of fuel weighed 5760 when we weighed them at the weigh scale last spring,you should be somewhere around his weight i'd think.Both trucks are 4X4.

According to this chart from the RAM towing guide, a 4x4 short box cc 8 speed V8 has a base (curb) weight of 5380 pounds. The 6-4 box adds 65 pounds.
