On a trip out of town , ran 5 min to store and when went to turn shifter from drive to reverse all wheels locked up and we got a message saying to continue in drive do not shut off engine to service transmission... only I had pulled in and couldn't go forward so eventually shut off and tried to reset by unhooking battery. Had it towed in to a shop, after 2 days they say the wiring harness plug connector is melted and has caused 3 fuses to blow... can I bypass this connector and replace fuses and see what happens then if anything? Or looking like new tranny? Thanks for any help!!
