Put airbags in the back of the truck and I doubt you'd see much difference between the PW and a standard 2500. Made all the difference in the world towing with my old 1500.

The better gear spacing, and vastly better programming will eliminate or at least reduce the bog followed by harsh downshifts when pulling, but ultimately the 6.4 needs to be wound up to make power, and that will not change. It bothered me at first, but now I just let it scream. The way to have relaxed towing in the mountains and at higher elevations is to own a Cummins.

Sh really does make good power right around 3800-4200 RPM.
