2019 ram 1500 a/c compressor

A/C compressor intermittently runs with auto and manual switches off. Defrost switch off also. All ranges of outside temperatures compressor will cycle on and off. Dealership thinks I'm nuts.

As far as I was taught This is normal Function it'll click on for a second or two then off. I Beleive it's to keep oil moving though the system.

thanks it comes on for probably 2 or 3 minutes at a time but it makes sense

Oh I've only ever seen them come on 15-20 seconds at a time. If you worried. Just unplug the compressor.
