How do you see a resemblance? The new Chevy looks like a Colorado and nothing like the Ram.

I honestly don't think I could ever buy that truck simply because of the STUPID mirrors. Fire who ever did that, and who ever approved that.

Having said that, I don't even really like the rest of the truck either. The interior is the biggest fail of all though. Ram comes out with a brand new interior, when they already had the superior interior. Chevy slaps on a few more "soft touch" surfaces to the High Country and that's a "new" interior according to them?

Saw a vid on youtube anout the 19's...Only thing(without more research time)i liked was the bigger screen in the dash..
The outside design just looks car like, lost its aggressive muscle look to me..
Not that im buying one cause my 16 sport has only 13000 mi on it yet..@the rate i put miles on it she will be 8 yrs old before she hits 60,000 mi.....

I have to say the more I'm seeing of the 2019 the more I like it. The Etorque system sounds intriguing. The one thing I'm really disappointed with is the horsepower and torque numbers on the Hemi. They really should be able to squeeze more horsepower out of the 5.7L. It's disappointing that Ford has the Ecoboost that's putting out 375hp with 470 torque where RAM is still stuck on the same numbers from the previous generation. I definitely think they could've done better. Maybe offer the 6.4L as an option in the half ton...

Other than that I think it's a nice truck they've put together and the interiors really look pretty fantastic. I really want that 12" Uconnect screen!

played a couple of minutes with PhotoShop, how do you like my alternative :)

At least it seems more familiar to me, the one I got used to, but all new at the same time.

That looks awesome with the crosshair. If someone makes a crosshair grille aftermarket for this truck they'd make a killing. I just cannot understand why RAM cannot listen to their customers and leave the crosshair alone. I mean the new grilles don't look bad, don't get me wrong, but the crosshair has been a trademark on Ram trucks since 1994.

Gen 4 ended with the advent of the Gen 5 2019 model. No more Gen 4's being made.

They are similar, but I do prefer the Ram. Just looks more mature. Looks very nice in all black. Interior is no brainer win for Ram.

I do to, I was just pointing out the very sickening similarities to that Pherd...lol.

I do like that interior but even though this is just my opinion, I’m still highly partial to mine, just sayin’...

I cannot wait for a Gen 5 2500 thread! I might make it my forum startup page. :badger_1:

The current/outgoing Ram still has the nicest interiors on the market. The top of the line Ford interior comes close, but still not as nice. You got a great interior to last you for a long time. The new Ram just piles on the hurt for the other big two in the interior department.

I'm guessing we will start seeing spy shots of Camo'd HD's around Michigan pretty soon. Within the next 6/8 months. Maybe I'll even spot one on the road here on my travels. They also do a lot of high altitude testing of them in CO.

Should just be one since the HD’s haven’t been getting the new body style until a year later.

I don't know if your truck is paid off, but that would be two more years of paying the loan down and possibly help with trade it.

That of course is if it is two years till the hd redesign

Rumor has it it could be a 2 year delay with the switch in production from the plant in Mexico to plant in Michigan. Makes sense as they'll have to re-tool the Michigan plant and then some.
