IMO I wouldn't worry about the shudder and concentrate on clearing the misfire.
Did you switch out the injector like you mentioned earlier? I would have a close look at the plug that the coil connects too and the wires. If you switched the coil and the misfire remained your issue could be in the harness or maybe a poorly functioning injector. Did you use dielectric grease in the coil boots? It may be arcing inside the plug chamber. Are you sure the plug boots slid over the plugs properly?
