30 inch Rough country with amber DLR

I was able to install the Rough country 30 inch with amber DLR lights, but I had to remove the factory tow hooks...bummer! The brackets that I purchased off Amazon said they would work with keeping the tow hooks. Probably would if the light bar was right at 30 inches end to end. Took a little tweaking
Anyway it still looks really good. Wired it to the up fitter switches the number 1 for the light bar and number 2 for the amber DLR. Fits flush with bumper

Some guys have just notched the inside portion of the tow hook to fit a 30" light bar. The bar may be 30" but the mounting hardware reduces your available space inside the opening to something under 30"

I just did the 20” rough country black with white drl and 2-2” rough country black cubes to go between the bar and the tow hooks. That will take up the space, give me more options and keep my tow hooks. I’ll be installing if I ever get my truck back from the dealer.

The RC curved bar is actuall 31” and some change. There have been reports of the tow hooks breaking when notched, unless you never plan on using them

Do you have a link or name to these hooks? I have a light bar that is straight & too long for the hooks, so I will need to get this light bar also.

Yes. Wired to the upfitter connectors under the hood. The 1 auxiliary switch for the white light and the 2 auxiliary switch for the Amber DLR lights
